Artist's Comments

More artwork from England.
This was done on board using paint, plaster, newspaper, and straw.
In all honesty, it looks better in person.

wonderful...I wouldnt want to meet that bird alone on a cold night...*shiver*

Very nice job of using muted colors. Not many can do that well...

I really like this! I love how youve composed the background, and how the crow(or raven?) glares at you.
Wow! Love the picture!

oooh, nice technique. I really like the newspaper background idea! It works very well. The overall painting is really nice too :)

Love can sometimes be magic.
But magic can sometimes... just be an illusion.

I love the newspaper. That's really awsome :)
:iconkiriska:
Damnit. I really envy your realmedia skillz. The newspaper in the back looks brilliant, and the crow really, really pops out well - straw in the wings are a great touch. The closest building in the background almost looks like you did it on cardboard, cut it out, then pasted it there. The popup effect is really well done. And the buildings in the back look really far away. Tree doesn't stick out as much, but amongst the other things, that's a really negligible detail. How big is this in real life?
